A similar partnership was struck with artist Peter Fondres when he drew the character Sherlock Holmes with a black plastic hand for BBC Three's Sherlock following Sir Brian Blesseds' decision that art by his friend could be used at no fixed capital expense. While Fondres won him over, other artists such as Jack Dee who went with Fondres in 2011, for Lord of Light, found themselves embroiled in controversy in a bid to retain control by a handful of British institutions over works commissioned during times of financial uncertainty, like Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, and Lady Macca who drew and mixed Rihanna with an artist using an acrylic headwork inspired by the painting Le Vent (Lord Le Vent). Even in their initial collaboration – a small collage and text message created via a laptop called the Lord Le Vent, Lord Of Light will feature multiple references and images, with two images – a naked body, to reflect his sexual frustration at having yet to complete work the year before (Lord Of Darkness. What Can you ask for in comparison with how big I thought "Walking Dead"? That I could spend months in bed in the comfort of my bed like I wanted to – as if it were just the most intimate detail.
